Geek & Gorgeous. C-Glow Serum 30ml
Description
Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow Serum is a super-light, water-like vitamin C serum to boost glow, even tone and provide antioxidant protection.
- 15% pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid) helps support collagen production and fade the look of dark spots and uneven tone.
- Ferulic acid and vitamin E add extra antioxidant support against daily environmental stressors.
- Ultra-fluid texture sinks in quickly.
Good to know: Short shelf life product. Made in small batches.
We recommend to start using it as soon as you get it. The shelf life can be prolonged if you store it in the fridge.
Shelf life: Approx. 3-6 months from production (unopened), 3 months PAO (period after opening).
- Skin type: all skin types - please do a patch test if you have sensitive skin
- Skin concern: dark spots, aging, dull & uneven skin
- 3-3.4 pH
- 15% Ascorbic Acid
- + Ferulic Acid Tocopherol
The disadvantage of pure Vitamin C is that it is super unstable, and hard to formulate with. This formula uses a low pH and extra antioxidants to help to stabilize Vitamin C, but even like this, C-Glow comes with a relatively short, 8 months shelf-life.
How to use
Apply a few drops to clean skin after cleansing and before other serums or creams. Ideal for morning use, but can also be used at night. Always follow with sunscreen in the daytime.
Ingredients & research
Key ingredients:
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid – 15%) – A clinically proven active that gives the skin environmental protection (antioxidant), boosts collagen production and fades hyperpigmentation. Also gives an instant glow to the skin.
Ferulic acid + Vitamin E – Antioxidants that help to stabilize Vitamin C and increase its antioxidant power. The formula contains a high amount of Ferulic Acid, and a smaller amount of vitamin E.
Dimethyl Isosorbide – A new-generation solvent that aids the proper penetration of Vitamin C + solubilizes the high amount of Ferulic Acid into the formula.
